DIY Watering Globe

SONY DSC

My heart is singing right now, because this project is truly upcycling at its best! In addition, I am too busy sometimes to worry about watering all my plants- so it’s super practical, too.

You have seen the infomercials with those bright-colored watering globes for “only $ 19.95”. Well, this one will cost you nothing but a little time and a few drops of spray paint.

What you need:

Bottle- I used glass, but feel free to substitute plastic

Your favorite spray paint (or acrylic paint if you wish)

Hot glue (I tried regular glue and the shapes wouldn’t stick to the bottle)

Flower/Plant shapes for design

Let’s start:

I glued on a few leaves of ivy (I expressed my love for ivy in this post) as well as some fabric flowers.

The glass shapes glow in the sun beautifully. Now, just fill with water and stick in your flower pot. Happy crafting, Xoxo!
